(1) panel layer
The panel layer is generally made of fine patterns and characters on the silk screen of less than 0.25MM PET, PC, etc., because the most important function of the panel layer is to use the logo and the button, so the material must have high transparency. High ink adhesion, high elasticity, and anti-folding characteristics.
(2) Glue layer
The most important function of the rubber layer is to closely connect the panel layer with the circuit layer to achieve the sealing and connection effect. This layer generally requires a thickness of 0.02---0.05MM, with high strength and anti-aging properties; In production, special membrane switch double-sided tape is generally used. Some membrane switches are required to be waterproof and high temperature resistant. Therefore, the rubber layer must also use materials of different properties according to needs.
(3) Upper and lower layers of the control circuit
This layer uses good performance (PET) as the carrier of the switch circuit pattern and uses a special process to screen the silver paste carbon paste or gold paste to make it have electrical conductivity, and its thickness is generally within 0.05--0.175MM. The most common is 0.125MM PET.
(4) laminated layer
It is between the upper circuit and the lower circuit layer and functions as a seal and connection. Generally, PET double-sided tape is used, and the thickness thereof is 0.05--0.2MM. When selecting this layer material, the overall product should be fully considered. Thickness, insulation, circuit button package feel and tightness.
(5) back adhesive layer
The use of the adhesive is closely related to the bonding of the membrane switch and the material. The commonly used double-sided adhesive, 3M adhesive, waterproof adhesive and the like are commonly used.
